Black men dating on the obx - consider
Outer Banksspoilers follow – including season two's ending.
Okay, we're going to need Outer Banks season three immediately (Netflix, we hope you're listening).
Between that big reveal surrounding John B's dad and the somewhat bittersweet end for the Pogues, we've been left with lots of questions that only a new batch of episodes will be able to provide answers for.
Fresh off the back of that season-two finale cliffhanger and looking ahead to Outer Banks season three, and all the possibilities it could hold, here's everything we know so far.
Outer Banks season 3 potential release date: When will we get more episodes?
Netflix
Good news, Pogues! Season three of Outer Banks was confirmed in December 2021... now it's just a waiting game to see when it'll appear on our screens.
In a video posted to Twitter, the cast of the show appeared, cheering, to say: "All the way from Poguelandia, season three baby!"
And with any luck, it's not the last we'll see of the show either.

Show boss Jonas Pate previously spoke about envisaging Outer Banks running through to seasons four or five, but whether the planned story gets told is ultimately down to Netflix giving it the green light once again.
There was a wait of just over a year between the first two seasons, with the first premiering in April 2020 and the follow-up only just releasing at the end of July 2021.
Season three is yet to start filming, so we believe with any luck to expect it in the summer of 2022.

Outer Banks season 3 cast: Who will return?
With season three now on the cards, we can expect all the main crew to be coming back for more. Expect being the keyword.
Rumours have been circulating over the possibility of Madelyn Cline's departure following her split from onscreen (and now formally offscreen) partner Chase Stokes.
The two, who play Sarah and John B respectively, went official with their relationship in June 2020 and dated for a year.
Their split has fans worried whether or not Cline would return for a third season however she went public in a now deleted Instagram story, bringing the rumours to a grinding halt.
The 24-year-old captioned her selfie with the following:
"Hi so I'm getting asked if s3 is my final season of obx. I will come back for as many seasons as they will have me. I love my job and there's not a day that goes by that I'm not grateful for it, and for everyone who has watched it. Not everything on the internet is true."
Phew, because it seems like there's still a lot left in store for her character Sarah.
In an interview with ELLE, theKnives Out 2actress said:
"I want her to be happy. I want to see her come into her own. For me, for Sarah's arc, that would be the most ideal thing to happen."
She continued: "I want to see her and John B have to kind of hash out what just happened. I want to see her personal relationships with her chosen family develop. Maybe we could get some backstory on her and Kie's friendship. Maybe see her try to go to Pogue high school. Maybe see her try to get a job.
"Season 2 was incredibly fast-paced and wild and very fun. And I think if we're lucky enough to get a season 3 [which we now know they will!] I want to dive into some character stuff and get to know [Sarah] better."
Joining her for a third season are likely to be the following:
This includes:
• Chase Stokes (John B)
• Madison Bailey (Kiara)
• Jonathan Daviss (Pope)
• Rudy Pankow (JJ)
It's very likely that Drew Starkey (Rafe), Charles Esten (Ward), Austin North (Topper), and new member of the Pogues Carlacia Grant (Cleo) would also join them again too.

Outer Banks season 3 plot: How could season 2 ending effect what happens next?
It's fair to say that Outer Banks' season two finale was a bit of a shocker.
Throughout the series, Sarah and John B had been continuing their quest for the treasure, reuniting with the rest of the Pogues in Charlotte. The gang managed to dodge Ward, Rafe, and newbie Carla (the threat of murder is never far away from this lot!)
The Pogues had lost their newly acquired gold cross to – yep, you guessed it – Sarah's family, the Camerons, during a dramatic run-in on a cargo ship. Narrowly escaping death (again), the gang jumped ship (literally) only to end up on a deserted island.
The season drew to a close with Carla on her way to meet with John B's father(!), whom many had assumed to be dead – but clearly, he most definitely isn't! He vowed to help track down the Shroud of Turin (the magical healing cloth that was meant to have been hidden in the gold cross) but, in return, she must help John B and his friends.
We'd expect this hunt to continue to play out in a third season, should we get one, with fans wondering whether or not John B will ever get that reunion with his clearly-breathing father.
Pate told Entertainment Weekly: "John B's relationship with his dad is a huge theme. Having his dad back around and eventually they're going to meet back up and John B has to reconcile his idealised version of his dead dad with the reality of his alive dad."
Jackson Lee DavisNetflix
Writer Shannon Burke added: "It's going to be instrumental and maybe the spine [of season three] basically."
It sounds like audiences may be in for that special moment after all, at least if showrunner Josh Pate gets his way. In an interview with EW, he confirmed that "John B's relationship with his dad is a huge theme [to shape season three]".
"Having his dad back around and eventually they're going to meet back up and John B has to reconcile his idealised version of his dead dad with the reality of his alive dad," Pate added. "It gives us a lot of thematic father-son stuff to work with."
Writer Shannon Burke added: "It's going to be instrumental and maybe the spine [of season three] basically. It's obviously a gigantic revelation that's going to power a huge part of the third season."
Actor Chase Stokes, who plays John B, has opened up about looking ahead to what this revelation may mean for his character going forward.
Telling TV Line that he's "hoping to continue to tell the story for a couple more seasons", he mused: "It wasn't like he [Big John] was swept away by a natural disaster or whatever the case may be. It was his choice to go out and leave his son, and what does that look like? What does it look like when a kid comes face-to-face with a parent who's left and chose to put him in these circumstances and has no idea what has happened in the meantime?"
Despite all of this very promising chatter, according to TV Line, the Outer Banks showrunners do not have a "master plan" for the third season – even if they do have some idea of the themes that they would look to explore further.
This sounds like business as usual in terms of the approach towards the show. In fact, when they were mapping out season two, Big John's return wasn't even necessarily a certainty.
"We knew we had that card," Jonas Pate told TV Line. "We didn't know that we would play it for sure, but around the sixth or seventh episode, when we were writing this year, we started to realise maybe we could do that."
Jackson Lee DavisNetflix
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Pate said: "It was always an idea lingering around and thematically, it sets up some stuff we want to explore in the third season."
"The first season we shot different endings, because we weren't 100 percent sure, and we had some alts on this season too that we ended up not using," Pate added. "Sometimes you just don't know until you put it together and that's definitely part of our process, trial and error."
JACKSON LEE DAVIS/NETFLIXNetflix
The second instalment left the Pogues – complete with new recruit Cleo – stuck on that abandoned island with very little in the way of sustenance. Fans will be hoping to see just how – or if – they manage to escape.
According to show bosses, the gang certainly aren't going to give up that easily on their escapades to uncover the goods.
During the same EW chat, Pate also revealed that "the treasure hunt is going to expand, and the mythology around the treasure hunt is going to evolve and get deeper".
He also described the behind-the-scenes team as being "pretty fired up" about how everything is "going to expand" in season three.
We do also know that romance is on the cards, particularly while the Pogues are stranded together on the self-named island of Poguelandia. Show bosses have teased that fans shipping JJ and Kiara may be particularly happy next season, with Pate explaining that they were "immediately open" to the idea.
"It seems like an interesting idea to explore but we kind of left it for season three," he said.
JACKSON LEE DAVIS/NETFLIXNetflix
As for John B and Sarah?
Actor Madelyn Cline told Entertainment Tonight(via Newsweek)that"it'd be really fun in season three" to get to see them "start to truly get to know each other in a very real sense".
"They're married," she added, "but they actually kind of don't know a whole lot about each other."
Chase Stokes has also hinted that John B may have been a bit hasty in his decision to get hitched, which we suppose may have ramifications for a third season.
"I think John B clings to a lot of the people around him. He's definitely a little more co-dependent than he likes to give himself credit for," Stokes told TV Line. "And now Sarah's a lifeline in his life. And just like any great partner, you want to keep that person around, and society tells us, 'Hey, there's a little shiny thing that you put on somebody's finger. You go to a courthouse, and that's how you solidify it.'
"When you're young and in love, and you're so caught up in the moment, it makes perfect sense. And for him, he hasn't had consistency… His dad's been gone for a while, and so for him to have something that feels stable in his life — absolutely. He definitely jumps the shark a little bit, but you know, for a kid who's been through that much trauma, it comes from the right place. Maybe it's wrong time, right idea."
Newcomer Carlacia Grant (who plays Cleo) has told ELLE that she has hopes for another romance in the future too, as well as further development for her character.
"I'm really interested in seeing this whole Cleo and Pope thing happen, if it does happen," she told the publication.
"And I would love to see more of Cleo's backstory. I, personally, really want to see more of her, more of where she came from. And I want her to be more bad-ass, definitely more bad-ass."
We'd totally be on board with that.

'Outer Banks' Season 3: Everything We Know So Far
By Remus Noronha
ShareTweetShareEmail
The popular teen mystery drama could be back soon! Here’s all you need to know about the next season of Outer Banks.
Expectations and hope are all we have, like the Pogues of Outer Banks. And that’s what could lead to a brand new third season of the Netflix original series.
Created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke, Outer Banks follows a group of teenagers in the Outer Banks of North Carolina, where society has a clear and sharp divide. The wealthy seasonal residents, or Kooks, and the local, working-class people, known as the Pogues. The story revolves around the Pogue teenagers who live in the neighborhood of The Cut. The kids are on a mission to find the missing father of their group leader, John B (Chase Stokes). Along the way, they discover a buried pirate treasure that could be connected to the disappearance. With only their determination and friendship keeping them alive, the Pogues fight law enforcement and the Kooks, while dealing with personal relationships, drug abuse, romance, money, and the helplessness of being underprivileged American teenagers.
The action-adventure mystery teen drama dropped its second season in July 2021 with a huge cliffhanger, leaving fans to speculate about what could come next. Season 2 delivered a poignant finale with a big reveal about John B’s father and we all have a lot of questions to be answered. And those questions can only be answered with a new season.
Although Netflix hasn’t made an official announcement about Outer Banks Season 3, there’s a huge possibility of a new season coming soon. Since the show premiered on Netflix in April 2020, it has been quite popular among viewers and became quite a success. And, judging by the second season’s rankings and consistent rise on the streaming charts, it looks like it’s only a matter of time before Netflix announces a renewal and Outer Banks Season 3 becomes a reality. In the meantime, based on its viewership, story arc, and fan reactions, we can definitely look ahead to the new and upcoming season of this action-adventure series. And we can be pretty sure that it’s going to be an exciting ride, much like the last two seasons. So, with all the possibilities that the new installment holds, we have gathered everything we know so far about Outer Banks Season 3. Let's dig in, then.

Has Outer Banks Been Renewed for Season 3?
Yes! Series creators Jonas Pete, Josh Pate, and Shannon Burke will return as both showrunners and executive producers of the coming-of-age mystery.
How Many Episodes Are There in Outer Banks Season 3?
Unfortunately, there is no news yet on the total number of episodes for Outer Banks Season 3. However, if we are to look at the previous two seasons of the series, each of which had 10 episodes, we can guess that the new season would also follow the same number and come up with 10 episodes. It also makes sense in terms of the story and what we expect to come in the upcoming episodes. But, that’s just our assessment, of course. Until there is an official announcement with a confirmed number of episodes, we can’t know for sure so stay tuned.
Is There a Season 3 Trailer or Teaser?
Another point of disappointment for the fans here! With no confirmation on the new season, there’s obviously no news on the trailer of Outer Banks Season 3. When it happens, we are sure it is going to be quite exciting and tease us well into the plot. So keep an eye on this space and wait with all your patience, as we will be bringing you the latest updates on trailers, teasers, and other info about Outer Banks Season 3 as and when they are released.
When Is Outer Banks Season 3’s Release Date?
Like all the fans, we are hoping that there will be some news on the release date of Outer Banks Season 3 soon. Looking back at what we know about the last two seasons, we can speculate that the upcoming season of the teen adventure series could be on Netflix in the summer of 2022.
For context, the second season of Outer Banks started filming in September 2020 and we had the show streaming in July 2021. Also, there was at least a year’s gap between the last two seasons of Outer Banks, with Season 1 releasing in April 2020 and Season 2 releasing in July 2021. If all goes well and production starts in 2021 itself, then there’s a big chance that summer 2022 could see the release of Outer Banks Season 3. Alternatively, if the production gets delayed (due to the pandemic or other reasons), then probably the release date could get pushed to the later part of 2022. Either way, it shouldn't be long before we get some word on this.
Who Is in Outer Banks Season 3 Cast?
Though there’s no concrete news on the exact cast list for Season 3, this is something on which we can take a good and educated guess. Based on how the story is moving and the popularity of the characters (and the actors), we can say that most of the major cast members will return for Outer Banks Season 3 and reprise their original roles. For instance, we can almost certainly expect to see Chase Stokes as John B Routledge, Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron, Madison Bailey as Kiara “Kie” Carrera, Jonathan Daviss as Pope Heyward, Rudy Pankow as JJ Maybank, Charles Harford as Big John, and Charles Esten as Ward Cameron.
The other supporting cast members that we believe could also return in Outer Banks Season 3 are Drew Starkey as Rafe Cameron, Austin North as Topper, Elizabeth Mitchell as Carla Limbrey, Carlacia Grant as Cleo, Caroline Arapoglou as Rose, Cullen Moss as Deputy Shoupe, E. Roger Mitchell as Heyward, Samantha Soule as Anna Carrera, Gary Weeks as Luke Maybank.
Apart from this, we can probably expect some of the Season 2 cast members as well some new faces to also join the roster for Outer Banks Season 3.

Who Are the Major Characters in Outer Banks Season 3?
Here’s a quick look at all the leading and important characters of Outer Banks who could be making a comeback in the upcoming third season of the teen drama.
John B Routledge or John B is the leading character of the story. He is the ringleader of the group of Pogue teens who is trying to find his missing father. He has been in a relationship with Sarah Cameron, a wealthy Kook, since season 1. In Season 2, after both John and Sarah are presumed to be dead, they somehow return to Outer Banks and reunite their friends, who try to clear his name, while dodging the intimidating Limbrey family. John and his friends are now looking for the Cross of Santo Domingo.
Sarah Cameron, John’s girlfriend and the love of his life. Though she belongs to a high-profile Kook family, she has left them behind when she finds out that her father and brother have blood on their hands. She becomes an official Pogue by extension of her relationship with John and her friendship with the other Pogue kids.
Kiara Carrera or Kie is John’s best friend. Technically, Kie is a Kook but she is a Pogue at heart and extremely loyal to her friends, much to her family’s dislike. Kie and Sarah graduate to a close friendship in Season 2 while Kie navigates her off-again-on-again romance with Pope.
JJ Maybank is a true and loyal Pogue and one of John B’s best friends. But he is also a perpetual troublemaker, which mostly arises out of his relationship with his abusive and alcoholic father. In the second season, JJ tries his best to clear John and Sarah’s name before they set out on their search for the Cross of Santo Domingo.
Pope Heyward, the brain of the group and a genius. He is a cautious and smart young Pogue who also happens to have a little crush on Kiara. His love-life takes a backseat in the second season as the group begins the hunt for the Cross of Santo Domingo. Turns out, he is the rightful heir to the treasure by virtue of his ancestry to Denmark Tanny, a legendary Black plantation owner, former enslaved cook, and local hero.
Apart from the Pogue gang, characters like Ward Cameron, Rafe Cameron, Carla Limbrey, Topper, among others could possibly come back to take their respective stories forward.
When Is Outer Banks Season 3 Filming?
Alas, we have naught but out hope that the filming for the new season of Outer Banks could be starting soon. Seriously, though, the show should be commencing production sometime towards the end of 2021 or start of 2022. We will, of course, be bringing you all the filming updates once the cameras do start rolling. So keep watching this space!
When Is Outer Banks Season 3 Set?
As we know from the main plotline and previous seasons, the story of Outer Banks is set in the present day on the North Carolina coast. The actual story does have its roots in the distant past but the show has, so far, stuck to the here and now. So, unless there is some kind of a back and forth in the timeline in the coming season, we are hoping that the linear format will follow and Outer Banks Season 3 will be set in the contemporary period as the story progresses.
What Is Outer Banks Season 3’s Story?
Since the beginning of the series, John B and Sarah have been on a quest for treasure, along with the rest of their Pogue friends. With the murderous Cameron father-son duo and the intimidating Carla Limbrey on their back, it’s been quite a ride for this gang. In the second season of Outer Banks, the kids hunt for the coveted Cross of Santo Domingo and finally acquire it after a great ordeal. But only to lose it to the Camerons (damn!). Escaping death and jumping ships (we mean that literally), they end up on a deserted island.
The second season also revealed an important arc about John B’s father who meets Carla and promises to help her find the Shroud of Turin, but only if she helps his son in exchange. All in all, the finale of Outer Banks Season 2 left a lot of questions and doubts. So, we are hoping that the new and third season will resolve all that.
For instance, we should see the Pogues finding their way back home but they might not give up on the treasures that they found. There’s also a high possibility that John might reunite with his father on the hunt for the Shroud of Turin.
On the other side of the story, we can also expect to see more romantic angles, especially between Kie and Pope. After all, it’s a teen drama and there’s no adventure without a little romance thrown in. And maybe the real treasure was the drama we had along the way.

There must be something in the water over at Outer Banks. A few days after Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes, who play love interests Sarah and John B on the show, confirmed they're dating, another OBX co-star has announced her new relationship. Madison Bailey, who plays Kiara on Outer Banks, revealed on TikTok that she's dating UNC-Charlotte basketball player Mariah Linney, 21. Ahead, everything we know about Bailey's new girlfriend, including how TikTok introduced the couple.
The couple is Instagram and TikTok official.
In late May, Bailey came out as pansexual on her TikTok, writing, "Nobody knows what pansexual means. Girls, boys, trans boys, trans girls, nonbinary babies. It's what's on the inside, boo." She previously alluded to her sexuality in a September 2019 Instagram post captioned, "Easily distracted by all genders🏳️🌈."

Bailey's next TikTok, which has been viewed nearly 13 million times, confirmed her relationship with Linney. In the video, Bailey can be seen repeatedly mouthing along to voiceover that says, "I'm not falling" before ending with "Okay, I'm falling." Then, Bailey brings Linney into the frame while smiling and hugging.

On June 15, Linney made their relationship IG official by sharing a photo of herself and Bailey with her nearly 45,000 IG followers. "💍‼️" Bailey commented on the post.

Linney is an accomplished basketball player for the Charlotte 49ers.
While Bailey is enjoying career success with Netflix's Outer Banks, Linney is heading into her senior year at University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Linney hails from Goose Creek, South Carolina, is majoring in sociology, and has had an impressive athletic career thus far. According to her official roster page, Linney was named theUSA Today High School Sports State Player of the Year as a senior at Goose Creek High School. In her most recent season, Linney was a starting guard in all 30 games. Linney regularly shares photos from the season on social media.

This isn't their first time getting flirty on social media.
Although Linney and Bailey just made their relationship official, signs of their romance could be seen on the 'gram and TikTok earlier. "Mine mine and mine," Bailey wrote underneath one of Linney's posts in May, and "😍😍😍 wow wow" underneath another last week. On June 13, the basketball player tweeted, "my girl is so talented, biggest fan."
But you can find the most evidence of the couple's bond over on Linney's TikTok. Since confirming their relationship, Linney and Bailey have posted several videos dancing together.

Yes, they can thank TikTok for their meet cute.
How did this Gen-Z pair meet? That would be TikTok, according to Linney's account. "Thanks to TikTok," Linney captioned one of their videos last week.

In late May, Bailey dueted a video of Linney captioned, "Just me staring at Madison Bailey."

There were several opportunities for a chance meeting before May, as Bailey grew up in North Carolina, where Linney is going to school. And Outer Banks is filmed in South Carolina, where Linney is from. But Bailey confirmed to Entertainment Tonightthat Linney caught the actor's attention on TikTok before the pair began DMing each other on Instagram.
The couple's relationship quickly became serious.
The future couple realized they only lived 20 minutes away from each other in Charleston, making their first date easy to plan. “I was staying in a hotel in Charleston and was like, ‘Just come hang out. We can chat, chill. Everything’s closed so it's not like we can go out anywhere,” Bailey told ET, adding that Linney met her parents only three days later.
“It’s very serious,” Bailey continued. “I had zero hesitation to post on social media about it because I was like, ‘No matter what happens, you will be in my life forever.’ I care about her so much. She's very gentle-hearted, kind, loving, and you see that in the way she loves basketball [and] her family. You see her loyalty and dedication in the things that she cares about. I think I am in love.”

Bailey said she feels "lighter" since telling the world about her new relationship.
During a Mental Health Q&A on Lucy Hartselle's Instagram Live yesterday, Bailey discussed coming out as pansexual and introducing Linney to the world. "To be so transparent, especially in an industry when a lot of people want to be in my personal life, it’s nice that I can be like 'Here's my personal life. You can have it. It’s fine,'" she said, according to Us Weekly. "I feel zero shame, and I don’t feel that way because nobody’s ever really shamed me for it and I know a lot of people have had lot of hate and lack of support. I know so many, countless stories of queer people that did not have support. But if you’re asking me personally, that’s just my experience with it. It was worth it. I feel lighter, I feel happier that I can just be so open and honest."

Everything We Know About 'Outer Banks' Season 2
Netflix's Outer Banks was the summery escape of 2020 we were all desperate for when it became clear that we'd all be spending a lot more time indoors for the foreseeable future. And, at only 10 episodes, the treasure hunting first season is pretty short and sweet by Netflix standards. After ending on a huge, tempest-tossed cliffhanger, the fans need to know: Will there be more Outer Banks for us to bask in and pretend we're on an island vacation for a few hours a week? The state of the entertainment industry is more in flux than ever during this period, but we're pretty sure we have some good news for all of you.

The History of the McRib
Has Outer Banks been renewed?
Given the unexpected popularity of the show's first season, it was only a matter of time before Netflix announced further plans. At the end of July 2020, the fans got the good news: Outer Banks has been officially renewed for another season. Netflix followed up their announcement with a video of the show's stars showing their excitement about the renewal, jumping into pools, practicing lines in the mirror, and running down the street with a surfboard.
The good news is that series creator Jonas Pate told Entertainment Weekly that Netflix had told them, when they greenlit the show, to go ahead and start working on some Season 2 scripts as well.
"Ever since we started, we always viewed it as something that was probably like a four-season, maybe five-season show, but definitely four seasons," Pate said. "We've sort of long-arced it out pretty far. I'm just hoping that we get a chance to actually tell those stories."

When will Season 2 come out?
In June, Netflix officially announced (see above) that the new season of Outer Banks will wash up onto our Netflix accounts on July 30, 2021! Get those cocktail umbrellas ready.
Outer Banks is one of many productions that was able to restart after the quarantine put everything on hold all summer. The second season started production in Charleston, South Carolina at the beginning of September 2020 with COVID protocols in place, and wrapped there in January 2021, after which they headed down to Barbados (!!!) to film the rest of the series, which they finished up at the beginning of April 2021.
Who will be in the cast?
We can probably expect to see everyone who was alive by the end of the first season to return, especially the scrappy Pogues, John B. (Chase Stokes), J.J. (Rudy Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Kiara (Madison Bailey); Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline); her villainous father, Ward (Charles Esten); her brother, Rafe (Drew Starkey); Rose (Caroline Arapoglou); Topper (Austin North); and the rest.
Elizabeth Mitchell (otherwise known as Juliet from Lost!!!) is joining the cast for the second season, playing "Limbrey, a long-time Charleston native; a compelling woman with a level of toxicity and menace underneath her seemingly courteous ways." Sounds like Juliet all over again.
We can also expect plenty more new characters to sail ashore—especially since there will be at least one new location added to the next season.
Are they going to the Bahamas?
Yes. Pate said in the same EW interview that at least part of the show would follow John B. and Sarah cruising around Nassau in search for their lost treasure.
"We'll definitely have at least a part of Season 2 that'll take place in the Bahamas, but it'll all come back to the Outer Banks because that's our spiritual home," Pate said. "So we'll get back to the Outer Banks pretty quickly, I'm sure, but there'll be definitely an episode or two that has some Bahamas in it."
Will they actually film anything in the real Outer Banks this time?
Outer Banks got a little bit of flak before its first season premiered from actual Outer Banks residents, who were annoyed that Netflix didn't actually film the show in the real Outer Banks, or feature any Outer Banks landmarks. Netflix instead shot the show in Charleston, SC, in protest against North Carolina's controversial bathroom bill, which required people to use the bathroom corresponding to the gender they were assigned at birth, enacted in 2016 and partially repealed in 2017. Since then, the ACLU had been in a years-long legal battle, which ended with the courts ruling against the bill in summer 2019, shortly after production ended on Outer Banks. The clause officially expired at the end of 2020, so we might just see Outer Banks show up in the actual Outer Banks. Starting a petition to add a lengthy action scene in the middle of Duck Donuts.

Jonathan Daviss as Pope
Jonathan Daviss is the actor behind Pope, the smartest of the Pogues, who has a scholarship on the line — his ticket to a life outside of the Outer Banks. Daviss appears in teenage dramedy Age of Summer as Mathis, and in indie drama Edge of the World as Jay Tibbs. Outer Banks is his largest TV role to date, and what is sure to be the first of many. You can catch Daviss in episodes of Baselines, an upcoming web-series directed by Nate Parker. You can find him jamming out and posting thirst traps on Instagram @jonathandavissofficial.
Rudy Pankow as JJ
Rudy Pankow is JJ,John B’s oldest friend and a fellow Pogue, with a rough home life. Pankow has appeared in several shorts, and a few TV episodes, but Outer Banks is his largest role to date— something that’s sure to change after his stellar performance. He stars next as Joey Kite in the upcoming dramedy, Space Waves. You can find him posting selfies and writing long captions on Instagram @rudeth.
Austin North as Topper
Austin North plays the king of the Kooks, a nationally ranked surfer, and Sarah’s boyfriend Topper. North is a former Disney Channel star (who seems to have avoided all the traps and pitfalls of that lab) who made appearances in Kickin It’, A.N.T. Farm, and Jessie before co-starring inI Didn’t Do It. Outer Banks is his most recent project. You can find him on Twitter @austinnorth55 and Instagram at @austinnorth55.
Drew Starkey as Rafe
Drew Starkey stars as Rafe, a college dropout and a bad influence who frequently leads his sister and her friends astray. Starkey has made several small appearances on TV and film, including a recurring role on Scream: The TV Series, as Hawkins. Starkey will appear alongside an all-star cast — including Tom Holland, Sebastian Stan, and Riley Keough— in the dramatic thriller, The Devil All The Time, as Tommy Matson. He’ll also appear in the sports drama, Embattled, as Tanner Van Holt. You can find him just being a lad on Instagram @drewstarkey.
Outer Banks Supporting Cast
The Outer Banks supporting cast also features veteran actors, who have decades of experience, and dozens of films and television credits under their belts.
Charles Eaten as Ward Cameron
Charles Eaten is Ward Cameron, a wealthy (self-made) businessman who exudes a casual authority, and is Sarah and Rafe’s dad. Perhaps the biggest name on the show, Eaten is an old pro, who’s been on our screens for over three decades. The actor-musician is probably best known for his role on Nashville, as Deacon Claybourne, which he played for six seasons. He’s also appeared on Enlightened, Big Love, ER, and The Office, among many others. Outer Banks is his most recent project, but you can keep up with him on Twitter @charlesesten, Instagram @charles_esten, and his official site charlesesten.com.
Outer Banks stars Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes have opened up about what it's like dating in real life as well as on-screen, and how one impacts the other.
The pair play Sarah Cameron and John B in the Netflix original; two people from opposite ends of the social hierarchy of Outer Banks, who start dating. And after meeting on the set of the first series, Madelyn and Chase started dating, too, confirming they were a couple in June 2020.
But what is that actually like? "For Maddie and I as young actors trying to march our way through the industry, it was important for us to establish a difference in character versus personal relationship," Chase, 28, told Cosmopolitan US.
Netflix
"[When I watch Outer Banks] I see a lot of John B and Sarah. I don’t see a lot of Maddie and Chase, which was really gratifying. You’re able to be outside of yourself and be in these characters and go into a world which is fictional vs. the reality of what life is."
*Spoilers* Cline, 23, says something similar, adding, "I think being in a relationship only makes the relationship moments stronger onscreen. In the breakup scene, if it’s heart-wrenching for us, then we can only hope it’s heart-wrenching for the audience."
Netflix
In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan UK, the Outer Banks cast also touched on the likelihood of a third series. While they'd all love another instalment of the show, spin-offs are unlikely, as their characters feel most comfortable thriving off each other. Fair enough.

Black men dating on the obx - are
The second season of Outer Banks hit Netflix in July 2021 — and it was well worth the wait! During the 15-month hiatus between episodes, interest in the cast began to grow like no other, especially when it comes to their love lives.
Similarly to shows like Riverdale and 13 Reasons Why, fans are quick to ship onscreen couples and with Outer Banks, it actually worked. John B (played by Chase Stokes) and Sarah Cameron (played by Madelyn Cline) are dating IRL!
The attractive duo first sparked romance rumors in April 2020 after Chase left a flirty comment on Madelyn’s Instagram. “Heart rate … decreasing … help,” the Maryland native wrote. Of course, Outer Banks viewers couldn’t help but gush over the interaction.
Eventually, Chase followed up with another comment. “Man, I really stirred the pot here didn’t I?” he joked. Less than two months later, Chase took to social media once more. “Cat’s outta the bag,” he captioned two sweet photos of himself and Madelyn having a picnic at the beach.
“Topper punching the air [right now],” Madelyn commented, referring to Outer Banks character Topper Thornton (played by Austin North). She also wrote, “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.”
Beyond an outpouring of love and support from fans, Chase and Madelyn’s costars were quick to fawn over the couple. “Adopt me, please,” Drew Starkey, who plays Rafe Cameron, commented. “Well, it’s about time,” Jonathan Daviss, who plays Pope Heyward, chimed in, along with three heart emojis.
Unfortunately, in September 2021, breakup rumors surrounding Madelyn and Chase began to circulate, most notably after she was spotted dancing with 13 Reasons Why actor Ross Butler during Milan Fashion Week, per TMZ.
However, on September 16, Madelyn did post a sweet birthday shout-out for Chase. “Happiest birthday to you, nerd,” she wrote via Instagram Stories, along with sharing several cute photos.
Chase also shared his own Instagram post for his birthday. “Another trip around the sun. Very thankful for everybody who has sent me messages, tagged me in things and showed so much love. Thank you. Yes, I know. I’m old. Get over it,” he captioned six photos, four of which included Madelyn.

‘Outer Banks’ Cast’s Dating Histories: Madelyn Cline, Chase Stokes and More
Modern love! Madelyn Cline, Chase Stokes and more Outer Banks stars manage to keep the romance alive offscreen — and their real-life love stories make fans go wild.
The Netflix series became a major hit when it premiered on the streaming platform in April 2020, and soon after, viewers began to wonder whether sparks were flying between Sarah and John B. (Cline and Stokes, respectively) off camera.
“I’m really, really attracted to intellect. Any mental thing. Physicality sort of becomes a secondary thing for me,” the Maryland native told Glamour in April 2020, revealing at the time that he was newly single. “I’m so in tune with people’s hearts and people’s souls and deep conversations before I even start to look at the sexuality stuff. I’m not a typical, sexual-driven male.”
Stokes explained that he felt more attracted to the ability to “have a deep, in-depth conversation with somebody” than to superficial aspects. “Anybody that can get in touch with my brain and then my soul, that’s what’s going to turn me on the most,” he added.
Two months later — and after plenty of fan speculation — Stokes and Cline made their relationship Instagram official. “Cats outta the bag ❤️,” the One of Us Is Lying actor captioned a sweet post, to which Cline replied, “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up.”
Though their characters’ chemistry is undeniable, it wasn’t until the pair quarantined together amid the coronavirus pandemic that their feelings for each other grew more serious.
“I think we were just so invested in the work,” Stokes told Us Weekly exclusively in February 2021. “The biggest thing for me is being even more proud of her work now as her partner and watching her grow as an actress and watching her grow as a person through this. I think there’s always this element of [asking] ‘How can we make it not about Maddie and Chase? How do we make it about Sarah Cameron and John B?'”
The couple’s connection was so convincing during season 1 that they were shoo-ins for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie and TV Awards in May 2021. While accepting their trophy, Cline cut off her beau’s speech with a big smooch.
Us Weekly confirmed in November 2021 that the pair had broken up after more than a year of dating.

So, we are do hwan and moon ga young dating that the new and third season will resolve all that.
For instance, we should see the Pogues finding their way back home but they might not give up on the treasures that they found. There’s also a high possibility that John might reunite with his father on the hunt for the Shroud of Turin.
On the canoodle dating site side of the story, we can also expect to see more romantic angles, especially between Kie and Pope. After all, it’s a teen drama and there’s no adventure without a little romance thrown in. And maybe the real treasure was the drama we had along the way.

Netflix's Outer Banks was the summery escape of 2020 we were all desperate for when it became clear that we'd all be spending a lot more time indoors for the foreseeable future. Has Outer Banks been renewed?
Given the unexpected popularity of the show's first season, it was only a matter of time before Netflix announced further plans. At the end of July 2020, the fans got the good news: Outer Banks has been officially renewed for another season. Netflix followed up their announcement with a video of the show's stars showing their excitement about the renewal, black men dating on the obx, jumping into pools, practicing lines in the mirror, and running down the street with a surfboard.

(Rudy Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss), and Kiara (Madison Bailey); Sarah Cameron (Madelyn Cline); her villainous father, black men dating on the obx, Ward (Charles Esten); her brother, Rafe (Drew Starkey); Rose (Caroline Arapoglou); Topper (Austin North); and the rest.
Outer Banks got a little bit of flak before its first season premiered from actual Outer Banks residents, black men dating on the obx, who were annoyed that Netflix didn't actually black men dating on the obx the show in the real Outer Banks, or feature any Outer Banks landmarks. Netflix instead shot the show in Charleston, SC, in protest against North Carolina's controversial bathroom bill, which required people to use the bathroom corresponding to the gender they were assigned at birth, enacted in 2016 and partially repealed in 2017. Since then, the ACLU black men dating on the obx been in a years-long legal battle, which ended with the courts ruling against the bill in summer 2019, shortly after production ended on Outer Banks. The clause officially expired at the end of 2020, so we might just see Outer Banks show up in the actual Outer Banks. Starting a petition to add a lengthy action scene in the middle of Duck Donuts.

There was a wait of just over a year between the first two seasons, with the first premiering in April 2020 and the follow-up only just releasing at the end of July 2021, black men dating on the obx.

For me, for Sarah's arc, black men dating on the obx, that would be the most ideal thing to happen."
She continued: "I want to see her and John B have to kind of hash out what just happened. I want to see her personal relationships with her chosen family develop. Maybe we could get some backstory on her and Kie's friendship. Maybe see her try to go to Pogue high school. Maybe see her exclusively dating but not in a relationship to get a job.

Gay dating site no registration gang managed to dodge Ward, Rafe, black men dating on the obx, and newbie Carla (the threat of murder is never far away from this lot!)
Having his dad back around and eventually they're going to meet back up and John B has to reconcile his idealised version of his dead dad with the reality of his alive black men dating on the obx Lee DavisNetflix
Writer Shannon Burke added: "It's going to be instrumental and maybe the spine [of season three] basically."
It sounds like black men dating on the obx may be in for that special moment after all, at least if showrunner Josh Pate gets his way.
Despite all of this very promising chatter, according to TV Line, the Outer Banks showrunners do not have a "master plan" for the third season – even if they do have some idea of the themes that they would look to explore further, black men dating on the obx.
This sounds like business as usual in terms of the approach towards the show. In fact, when they were mapping out season two, Big John's return wasn't even necessarily a certainty.
"We knew we had that card," Jonas Pate told TV Line. "We didn't know that we would play it for sure, black men dating on the obx, but around the sixth or seventh episode, when we were writing this year, we started to realise maybe we could do that."

"Sometimes you just don't know until you put it together and that's definitely part of our process, trial and do hwan and moon ga young dating LEE DAVIS/NETFLIXNetflix
The second instalment left the Pogues – complete with new recruit Cleo – stuck on that abandoned island with very little in the way of sustenance. Fans will be hoping to see just how – or if – they manage to escape.
According to show bosses, the gang certainly black men dating on the obx going to give up that easily on their escapades to uncover the goods.
During the same EW chat, Pate also revealed that "the treasure hunt is going to expand, and the mythology around the treasure hunt is going to evolve and black men dating on the obx deeper".

As for John B and Sarah?
Actor Madelyn Cline told Entertainment Tonight(via Newsweek)that"it'd be really fun in season three" to get to see them "start to truly get to know each other in a very real sense".
"They're married," she added, "but they actually kind of don't know a dating site about me lot about each other."
And just like any great partner, you want to keep that person around, black men dating on the obx, and society tells us, 'Hey, there's a little shiny thing that you put on somebody's finger. You go to a courthouse, and that's how you solidify it.'
"When you're young and in love, and you're so caught up in the moment, it makes perfect sense. And for him, he hasn't had consistency… His dad's been gone for a while, and so for him to have something that reddit best dating app stable in his life — absolutely. He definitely jumps the shark a little bit, but you know, black men dating on the obx, for a kid who's been through that much trauma, it comes from the right place.
"And I would love to see more of Cleo's backstory, black men dating on the obx. I, personally, really want to see more of her, more of where she came from. And I want her to be more bad-ass, definitely more bad-ass."
We'd totally be on board with that.
